Conferences and cruises come and go, but it is our prayer that during this week, God will meet you right where you are at as He ministers to you through uplifting praise and worship, powerful workshops and teachings and the opportunity to fellowship with brothers and sisters in the Lord.
We are grateful to bring you one of the most sought after speakers in the country -
Dave Edwards. Dave's mission is to reintroduce the truth of God's word by meeting people where they are in life and bringing them one step closer to knowing and becoming like Jesus Christ.
Dave does not "talk the talk" - he "walks the walk" and God has blessed him in a mighty way to be able to communicate biblical "life principals" that will revolutionize your life and your walk with the Lord.
Joining Dave will be Jake Gulledge. For those of you who experienced the worship led by Jake on our Christian Singles Fall Cruise, you know what he means when he says "JUST WORSHIP!" He truly will lead you right to the throne of the God, and you will see that worshiping the Lord at sea offers a fresh new experience.
It is our desire on each of our cruises to offer you the opportunity to experience intimacy - with the Lord and with one another. We want you to be touched by the Lord through the music, message, and special events offered throughout the week. Whether you are single, divorced, single again or widowed; God has a plan and a new season for your life. |

KEY WEST,
FLORIDA (FL)
 |
Ernest
Hemingway made wild, colorful Key West his home, and you will want
to do the same. Home to modern-day adventurers, artists and poets,
the island's charming Old Town teems with restaurants, bars and
unique shops. Add pristine coral reefs, coconut palms and a laid-back
attitude that's truly contagious, and it's easy to see why so many
visitors to Key West never leave. |
 |
•
Enjoy the pleasures of a glass-bottom boat on a unique and informative
eco-tour of the only living coral reef in the continental United
States. It's home to over 300 species of fish, which complete the
colorful and intriguing seascape. The boats are specially designed
to provide maximum viewing with minimum stress to the delicate reef
environment. |
•
Visit the Museum of Art and History at the Custom House, a "must-see"
when in Key West. Take a traditional trolley tour through historic
Key West. Marvel at the priceless treasures on a visit to the Mel
Fisher Maritime Heritage Museum. Absorb the local charm on a stroll
down Duval Street, lined with quaint shops, cafés and restaurants. |
|
COZUMEL,
MEXICO
| |
The
Conquistadors first saw Mexico from the shores of Cozumel
while searching for gold. Today, visitors to the island continue
to seek out gold and silver jewelry in the shops of San Miguel
while having a great time in its many local bars and restaurants.
Plus, the waters around Cozumel's sheltered coral reefs make
this one of the best snorkeling areas in the world.
|
Don't miss
the opportunity to explore the ruins of the ancient Mayan
city of Tulúm, majestically perched above the turquoise
Caribbean. The site was occupied as far back as 600 A.D. However,
it was most densely populated around 1200 A.D.
You will be struck by the pyramid-shaped El Castillo, which
dominates the city from atop a forty-foot cliff. The nearby
Temple of the Descending God provides equally excellent insight
into the architecture of the Mayan people, who gained considerable
achievements in the arts and sciences, only to decline and
vanish for no apparent reason. |
• Castillo Real - (Royal
Castle)
• Cedral,
a small village is the agricultural center of Cozumel. Many
Mayan ruins can be found in and around its confines.
• Celarin
Lighthouse on the southwest
tip of the island. Fantastic view from the top if you can
handle the 127 steps.
• Chankanaab
Park
• Chichen-Itza,
Tulum & Coba - Mayan Riviera
• El
Cedral - Located about two
miles off the main highway, this is the easiest to reach of
Cozumel's ruins. It is believed to be the oldest on the island.
• Museo
de Cozumel - Features displays
showcasing Cozumel's history, people and natural geography. |
• Museum of Indigenous
Instruments - Showcases
over 600 authentic pre-Hispanic instruments from all over
Mexico.
• Museo
de las Isla de Cozumel -
Cozumel Mexico
The museum features art exhibits, pieces from the Mayan culture
and the Spanish conquest and displays life in Cozumel from
the 1940's to today.
• San
Gervasio Mayan Ruins (pronounced
san-her-ba-see-oh) is a major excavation of Mayan ruins covering
an area of about 10 acres and situated in beautiful &
cool forest surroundings. While
not as impressive as Tulum or Chichen Itza, San Gervasio provides
you with a sense of the Mayan culture and history.
• San
Miguel - Cozumel Mexico
Cozumel's only town has kept some
of the flavor of a Mexican village. |

Jake
Gulledge
Just Worship.
That has been the decree for Jake Gulledge
and his ministry for 13 years.
"Something incredible takes place when you understand that worship is not somewhere you go, but what you do. It is the attitude and a lifestyle that is in all of us. We just need to tap into and focus it." It's been said that over time you can lose your passion. Jake has made strides to help people understand that in worship, you do not lose your passion, but sometimes give it away to something else.
With self taught keyboard ability, Jake began playing in bars and clubs with local musicians. He recalls "paying his dues" when it came to being accepted by his friends. "I had asked Christ into my life at a small Christian camp in South Carolina. But I kept playing the bars and clubs to keep my acceptance with my friends. The problem I had was that I asked Christ into my life, but I didn't ask Him to be my life."
"I sang in church as much as I could, but many times it was for me - and not God. But then as a senior in high school, something happened to me that would change my life forever. I surrendered my life to God and the ministry he had for me, I was under conviction about being who I wanted to be versus who God wanted me to be. I was watching the worship leader that day in complete fascination of His love for Christ. It was at that conference that God really rescued me.
Jake leads worship to this day all over the country. From small camps to state conferences, God has used him to influence the lives of teenagers and adults alike. Releasing two previous recording projects, Jake solely produced his third project entitled Reaction: A Live Worship Experience. Training his voice became a priority to him early on as he strived for the power of Michael English to the R&B sounds of Kirk Sullivan and Russ Lee. Compared to Bart Millard of Mercy Me, Jake has found his own unique vocal style of leading worship. "Bart and I would spend hours talking about our heroes in Christian music and we always ended up with the same guys as influences."
With the resurgence and revival of praise and worship music, many ask if there's a need for another worship leader and another worship album. Jake's answer."God didn't create us to be worship leaders, but worshippers alone. It wouldn't slow me down if I never recorded again, because he doesn't long for my latest CD, but for my praise. We are called first to give God glory, and He's pretty jealous about that. And as long as God is God, I will be His child for Him. He is my Father, and He's all that I need."
