Crabtree House Garden Tour -- Saturday, April 20th, 2013:
The property will be available for use by S.O.U.L. on Saturday April 20 with a rain date of Saturday May 4th and
it is anticipated that all the daffodils will be in bloom at that time along with the other spring flowers that the Crabtrees planted more than a century ago.
Acatered lunchwill be available and theCrabtree House will be open for a walk-thru along with a short optional hike along the Miller's path which borders the Wallkill River across the street from the Crabtree grounds.
The property is located at 15 Factory Street in thehistoric village of Montgomery, Orange County, New York.
Anoptional group dinnercould be arranged at thehistoric Ward's Bridge Inn in the village and it is always nice to take a stroll around the historic village walking in the footsteps of those who have gone before us.
Crabtree House is easy to get to--Route 17 to the NYS Thruway north to exit 17 to Route 84 West. From Allendale in Bergen County, it is an easy 45 minute ride.
